Returned to Jamison Lake on my own and got an early start. Didn't quite beat the heat but beat the crowds. There was one group ahead of me. They kept getting confused, using their GPS, and I had to keep assuring them that they were on the right trail. There is no other, anyway. I led them across the stream and let them continue on. Winter is still slow, and it's not really winter until next week. Monday was a potluck for hiking leaders to plan February and March activities, meaning more winter things. As long as Kevin Costner chose to waste his time remaking a Robin Hood movie (that was what, fifteen years ago--I don't have any reason to look it up), Sword of Sherwood Forest is the movie he should have remade.
